I am a Helsinki-based Fine Art nature photographer.

For me, photography is above all about slowing down. It is not about striving for perfection, but about recognising the passage of time, moments of stillness, and the beauty of things that remain unfinished.

When I move through nature, my attention is often drawn to details that are easily overlooked. Forms, light, shadows and subtle changes tell stories that reveal themselves only when we pause to look.

Black-and-white photography has found an important place in my work. Its timeless quality and range of grey tones simplify the image, allowing the focus to shift towards light, form and atmosphere.

I often work in photographic series. Long-term, serial work allows me to explore the same subject from different perspectives, uncover new layers and create connections between individual images. Together, the photographs form a whole in which each work complements the others.

My photographs have received recognition in national and international competitions and have been exhibited in several exhibitions. I see competitions and exhibitions above all as opportunities to share my photographic series with a wider audience and to develop my artistic expression over time.
